Specialist dementia care in Middlewich

Whilst we do care for residents with a range of personal care needs, we specialise in dementia care. All staff are specially trained to be able to support residents with mental health needs.

Every resident has their own personalised care plan. We encourage individuals to maintain as much independence as possible, whilst making sure they get all the support they need. There is help on-hand 24 hours a day, offering residents and their family complete peace of mind.

We have the support of two local doctor’s surgeries. There is a weekly visit by a GP to the home. Families are welcome to accompany their loved one to these appointments.

We have a fairly even split of male and female residents here at The Manor.

Caring for our families

The level of support we offer families of our residents is quite unique. We understand that moving to a care setting can be as difficult for the family as the resident, sometimes more so. That’s why we have team members dedicated to supporting families during this time.

Families have access to 24-hour support from the staff here. They also have access to a support group of families who have been through the same process.

Any training that is taking place for staff at the home is also open to our families. You can learn first aid, lifting and handling, and dementia training. Families have told us how valuable they’ve found these skills, particularly when taking their loved one out for the day.
